Dear Reader,

Thanks for being here.

It means a lot.

Self‑Love: A Beginning

I’ve come to realize that innately, I do not know self‑love.

I have always been told

"Love yourself."

Love myself?

How? How do I do that?

The act of self‑love.

The process of self‑love.

It is all foreign to my innate being.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With that, I am embarking on a self‑love journey.

I have found that self‑love can feel both incredibly freeing and brutally overwhelming

I hope to release some of that weight on this journey.

And learn how to breathe again.

“Not Enough”

My insecurities center around the idea of not feeling “enough.”

Wholeheartedly, I see myself running.

Running. Carrying a bucket of water.

At the end of the day, when I return home, the bucket is empty.

It seems simple, right?

Just drink some of the water from your bucket, while you’re running.

But reader, if only it were that simple.

'Success' is relative

As I grow older, I’m learning that success is not linear,

Professional is a standard.

Personal is everything else.

And these goals will change. They’re meant to evolve.

In this moment, what does success mean to you?

Worthiness is Innate.

Reader, I am often reminded that worthiness is not something to earn or chase. It’s already inside me, waiting beneath layers of insecurity.

To My Younger Self,

If I could have a moment with young Christopher, I would just say:

“You’re allowed to love yourself too.”
